Welcome Baby Alyssa

Well after many long hours of hard labor my sister Danielle gave birth to a perfect baby girl. She was born at 2:46 am on April 18th. She weighed 8 pounds 7 oz. For those of you who know Danielle you may be wondering how such a small person gave birth to such a big baby. Well let me tell you it wasn't easy. Danielle had a very long and hard labor but she did wonderful. I am so proud and amazed by her. I am also grateful that I was able to be there for her. I have to say Chris her fiance, did a wonderful job as well. Thanks to all of Chris's family for being there. I know that really means a lot to Danielle. Taking a Trip to Az

I will be getting up early tomorrow to catch a flight to Tucson, AZ. My sister Danielle is going to be induced tomorrow at 8:00 am. My flight should arrive in Tucson around 9:40 am and I think the airport is only 10 minutes away from the hospital. So I am hoping to get there before any of the action starts haha. I know Danielle is really excited and nervous at the same time, but I think she is going to do great. I am a bit nervous myself, I hope I don't get in there and start thinking OH God what have I done... but I guess there is nothing that can you more ready for child birth then a practice run. Danielle just started her own blog last week, I have a link on my blog, so if you could please stop by her blog and give her some words of encouragement. I will be sure to post some pictures of the baby when I get back.

Things I love # 4

My Sisters

Really I have many sisters, two of which are my little sisters and I love them dearly. Danielle and Nikki have always been a big part of my life. Although the older they get that less time we spend together, and sometimes I really miss spending time with them. But they are getting older and finding there own way in life.

I also have a Step sister that I hold very near to my heart. I have known Erin since I was about 12 and I think she was 18 or 19 either way she was and still is totally COOL. She has a wonderful family and home. Tim and I love spending time with her and her family. (By the way it was not easy finding a picture of Erin.)

The newest addition I have as a sister is my Sister-in-law Shannon. I have really gotten to know her the past few weeks and to be honest I feel like I have a new best friend. I have always liked Shannon but you get to know some one on a different level when you have to live with them. I am really glad that she is staying at the house, it is nice to have some one to come home to when Tim is away and we get along really well. Also another big bonus is we can share cloths......what girl doesn't love that. I feel like even if Shannon and I were not related and we meet some where that we would still have become friends.
