From the Past
From Erin's blog, so I'm playing along. :)
The rules are simple:
1. Everyone leave a comment with a memory of me. Whether you've known me for a really long time or not long at all, you can add whatever you like! Something, anything!
2. If you continue it on your blog, then I'll come over and add a memory of you! And if you don't have blog, I'll tell my memory in the comments.

Better
Thanks to everyone that gave me advice on my post yesterday. I think I was just having a down day, I mean I really was upset and I felt way better after I put my feelings into words. I think that was what I needed. I am really enjoying bloging, I didn't think I would at first but I do.
On another note: My friend who's husband will be going over seas might get to come home for a week before he has to leave. My friend was so excited about the news that she called me at 7:00 am to tell me. I am so happy for her, I know it is going to be a long hard year for her. Also I knew when I told Tim that his friend would be coming home for a week that he would be really happy to. Tim and MJ are really good friends.

Rough Patch
Rough Patch
Man it seems like everyone around me is having a rough time here lately to include my self. One friends is just minutes away from losing her grandmother and this week her younger sister will start a year long deployment. I know she is having a hard time because she is the support beam for her family and her mom is having a really hard time dealing with that fact that she is getting ready to lose her mother, which is completely understandable. I really feel for her, she is going to have to keep all of her feelings inside to try and be strong for her family but doing that can really wear on you. I feel bad because I have no idea what I can say to make her feel better and it really kills me to see her so upset.
Then my other friend is dealing with being a new mother which is truly wonderful but it is a lot of work for two people and she is going to be on her own for the next year or so. Her husband is also going to be deployed. However she does have a lot of family and friends that will be around to support her. But no one will be able to take the place of her husband. And just think of all the first her husband is going to miss with the new baby, her first word, first step. They might seem like little things to some but to other it is a wonderful special moment you get to share with your child. A moment that cannot be recreated.
I have been feeling kind of down lately but now that I am taking a good look at what the people around me have to go through I should just be grateful for the things I do have. Yes Tim is out of town for a work but he is going to be back in a few weeks. Things might not be great with my family right now but they are still here. I know that there are all experiences that people have to go through I just wish there was some way to help, or there was that perfect thing you could say to make them feel better.

Friends

Here are my two best friends, life would be way harder if I didn't have them to lean on. Really if you think about it I am way lucky to have two best friends. It is great because two of us can always gang on the other one haha just kidding although it does happen some times. And we have all had are turn being the odd man out. The three of us have known each other since high school. The crazy thing is we all started out in the same place when we graduated from high school but now we are all going in different directions yet we still manage to stay close. There are things about both of my friends that I admire.
Shannon has always wanted a family and she has really worked hard for that goal. Here is a pic of her happy family. ( I will have to put a good pic of baby Kendall up she is so cute.)

Jenn, has one of the best outlooks on life of anyone I have ever known. I really can say over all the years I have never had a bad time when hanging out with Jenn. I know if I need some one to vent to she will be able to listen and give me the up side of things.
(Jenn and Shannon I hope you guys like the pics)
