Super Cool

I have to tell you I picked up Martha Steward's Holiday magazine and I just loved some of the ideas. I so wish Tim and I were able to have a Halloween party this year. Here are some of my favorite things I saw. (you can find all of these things on her web site)

Cool Pumpkins

I love these

My grandma, mom and me have all made these before they are nice and lots of fun to make but I always end up getting glitter everywhere.

I have just got to have a pumpkin like this. I love it!!!

My mom made cookies like these last year for my Halloween party and there were really good.

If anyone is going to have a Halloween party I will be glad to help.

Working Out and Feeling Good

Ok I know that I am only a few days into my new work out program. But I feel great, a bit sore but great. I had kind of a hard day yesterday and I went to the gym and afterwards I felt much better. I have been eating better and I think that it will start paying off soon. Poor Tim is not having such a good time. He had to miss our first two sessions with the trainer because he is still in NY. Also he had to move to a new hotel and this one doesn't have a kitchen or even a small refrigerator. It is so hard to eat healthy when you have to eat every signal meal out. But he has been working out on his own and trying to make good choices. I think things will be easier for him when he gets back. Which we hope will be this weekend, but we don't know for sure. I guess they will tell him tomorrow or Friday if he will have to stay up there for another week. Oh I have to put pictures up of Tina and Bristol, when I was in NY last weekend I found some really cute pet Halloween costumes. So they are now ready for Halloween.

Back in Town

Tim, Bristol and I had a wonderful weekend. We really didn't do much other then drive around the small town that Tim was staying in. The weather was beautiful and it was nice to just take it easy and relax. We did go see the movie Super Bad. It was pretty funny but I think Tim and I were the oldest people in the theater. I did bring Bristol home with me and he is a great traveler. It only took about 6 hours to get home on Sunday. I think Tina was glad to have Bristol back. Well I hope that everyone had as good of a weekend as we did.

Going Out of Town for the Weekend

That's right, I am going to be out of town this weekend. Tim called today and said that he has to work another week in NY so I am going to take tomorrow off, drive up and spend the weekend. I am really looking forward to this short trip. Tim said the weather is wonderful and there is a small town a lot like Bowling Green. Also I will get to see Bristol. So I hope that everyone has a great weekend.

I miss my little man

Well Tim has to spend the week in New York for work and he thought it would be nice to take Bristol with him. So my little man is on his way to New York with his daddy lol. I know he is just a dog but he is like the love of my life. I miss him already just knowing that he is not going to be there when I get home today. But Tina will and she and I can have some nice girl time. She might like having the house to her self for few days. Anyway here are some pictures Tim has sent me to day of Bristol in the car on his first road long road trip.
Look... you can tell that he misses me already lol

GREAT Birthday weekend!!!!

I had a wonderful wonderful weekend. Saturday the weather was beautiful and I got to spend the day with Shannon, Jenn and baby Kendall. One of the best parts was when Shannon and Kendall came over and Kendall got some time to play with Tina. Who I really think is in love with Kendall. Tina was really well behaved and I think that Kendall really enjoyed Tina as well, here are some cute pictures of the girls.

Look at that sweet face!

What a ray of sunshine

How about a kiss Tina (haha this is one of my favorite pictures, I was afraid that at any moment Tina was going to lick Kendall's face off haha)

Our friendship has grown from 3 to 4, here are the best friends a girl could have.

Saturday after I got back from my busy day of shopping with Jenn and Shannon, Tim and I took out kids for a nice walk around the neighborhood. It had been awhile since the kids had been out and again the weather was just so nice. That night Tim cool a very nice dinner for Shannon H. and I.

Sunday was a wonderful day! Tim gave me my birthday gift first thing Sunday morning. He got me the matching Tiffany's bracelet to the necklace I got when I was in England and I love it. I am so lucky! My sister-in-law Shannon got 3 Cobblestone Muffins, so we had a tasty breakfast. Thanks Shannon! And I spent most of the really afternoon sitting on my back deck in the sun reading a book and just enjoying the weather. Also the dogs joyed me on the deck they too loved being outside on Sunday.

The Queen and prince of the house Tina and Bristol.

They were just keeping mom company.

Later that afternoon the race came on and watching it is something that Tim and I enjoy doing together. But while we were watching it I was able to talk Tim into painting my toe nails, he is going to kill me for putting these pictures up lol.

Really I think that he did a pretty good job.

Then we got all dressed up and headed out for a very nice dinner at the Old Original Bookbinders in Richmond. It was amazing. The food was great and the company was even better. Tim treated me like a Queen all weekend and I am very great full. Thanks Tim, love you. Also I want to thank everyone for the cards you sent and the phone calls I received. I hope all of my birthdays will be a wonderful as this one.

Here are some pictures of Tim and getting ready to go out to dinner.

Personal Trainer

OK well last night Tim and I met with our new personal trainer, not that we had an old one, we have never had one. Things went well we talked about our goals and what we were doing, what we need to do and what we want out of this experience. She was really nice and seem to think that our goals were do able. She said we could lose up to 2 pounds a week. That seem like a lot to me but hey I am all for it. We will be meeting with her two times a week for 16 weeks. She thinks by the first of the year we could be at or really close to our goals. It is going to cost us a pretty penny, but I hope that it is worth it. We start on Sept 26 I think. So wish us luck!!!!

Responsibilities of Being a Wife

You know I love being Tim's wife he is a great husband, sure like anyone we have some disagreements but I would say over all we really enjoy each other. But one of the things I didn't really know about was that new responsibilities I would be taking on was a wife. I an in no way complaining, I look at is more as a observation. Really when I think about it, it is kind of amusing. So here is a list of some of the things I have observed.

1. I am now responsible for buying birthday cards and gifts for people I don't really know. I don't mind doing this but it is funny like the other day I wasn't feeling good and Tim's aunt is getting ready to have a birthday and he was stopping at the store on the way home so I asked him if he could pick up a birthday card and was was like "I guess I can." I mean I like his aunt but really I have only met her like 3 times. Why would I be able to pick out a better card for her the him, he has known her his whole life. I just think it is funny.

2. I am always responsible for deciding what we are having for dinner. There again I am really ok with this most of the time but some times it get hard to come up with new ideas for dinner and I don't want to have the same 5 things every week.

3. Responsible for appearances at all family functions. This goes for both sides, in my case my in-laws don't live close so we don't see them a lot but one of my friend has in-laws that live right down the street so she is responsible for getting the family to all the family functions and some times her husband doesn't want to go to some of his family get-together's but if then don't come do think anyone is going to say something to her husband? No it will be her fault that they didn't come.

I couldn't one think of a few, if anyone else can come up with some please let me know.

But on the other side there are lots of things I don't have to do anymore because I have a husband like:

Take out the trash ( I mean when Tim is out of town I do take it out but if he is home is does it)
Take the car for an oil change.
Cut the grass (not that I ever did that before but I don't have to worry about it now)
Order take out
Fix anything in the house
Also in my case Tim does about 85% of the cleaning in the house.

I know grils I am one lucky lady!!!

Rainy Day

I am so glad that today is a rainy day it actually puts a smile on my face. It has just been such a long hot summer. It will be nice to watch the leaves change and the cooler air will be welcomed. Also Halloween is coming! Tim and I had a lot of fun last year when we had a costume party and we have been talking about having one this year but we are not sure. I just had so much fun with all of the food and there were some really great costumes. I will have to see if I can find some pictures from the party and post them. So anyway I really and enjoying today's rain.

New Pitcures of the Kids

Well Tim and I didn't do a whole lot this weekend witch is really my fault I just have felt like crap all weekend. I really only left the house once this weekend. But we did take some pictures of Bristol and Tina so I thought I would share them with everyone.

This is Tina enjoying the sun on your back deck.

Tim and Bristol strike a pose.

Tina is ready for her close-up.

Here is Bristol with his close-up.

The irony is not lost on me that this post comes after one about my love for purely unnatural candy. But I am starting to realize that the cruise I am taking is only 15 months away (insert panic attack here).
So here is what I have been thinking about for a while....are you ready? Biggest Loser Fredericksburg! This idea was inspired by not only my desire to lose weight but that of my friends as well. I have been especially inspired by my friend Jonathan. His will power astounds me and I wish I were more like that but I need support, a challenge, a wager.
I want to know who amongst you would like to join me in a Biggest Loser challenge. A support group of sorts that would help us stay on track, not through guilt but positive encouragement. I know that everyone is pretty busy so I am not suggesting that we have weekly meetings ( although that would be awesome) but to just kind of be there for each other through the tough times like holidays, Super Bowl and night time. We could make friendly wagers and have special prizes for weekly, biweekly or monthly winners ( or should I say losers). This is not a club where everyone has to be on the same diet plan but we could share things that work for us and give suggestions.
Elisa thinks that she can beat all of us because she loves a competition. I say bring it on!!
WHO'S WITH ME!!??!?!

This post was on Olivia's blog and I just wanted to post it on mine because I want in on the competition. So who out there is with me???? You don't have to be a bloger or anything (for my friends that don't blog). I think it will be fun and I am looking forward to this journey and it's out come.

Fat Lip

OK so we all know that Tim and I are not the most coordinated people. Last night Tim and I went to the the gym to take a Cardioboxing class. Well we got there about 30 minutes early so we decided that we would do some abs work. So here we are both laying on the floor in the sit up position facing each other. Our feet are touching, and one person has a medicine ball and as they sit up they they through it to the other person as they are going down into there sit up ( I hope this makes since). Well I stopped for a moment to tell Tim something and he didn't realize I had stopped so I got a 6 lb ball thrown at me face haha..... yeah it gave me a bloody lip. Poor Tim felt really bad but wanted to laugh at the same time. I really couldn't be mad at him because it was my fault I didn't tell him to wait. I wonder if anyone at the gym saw that, I am sure they would have laughed so hard I would have noticed.

Here is a good picture of what we were doing.

Here is the item what Tim used to give me a fat lip haha

Now on to the Cardioboxing class, if you ever want to know how dump you can possible look just go to one of these classes. I was not smart I set up all of my stuff right next to a full wall of mirrors. The whole time I was looking at myself looking like a crazy woman beating up the air. The Cardio teacher looked so cool when she did all the moves but me not so much. But on the bright side I think Tim might have looked sillier then I did (sorry Tim for calling you out...Love ya mean it) and we did burn over 500 calories. I think Tim and I will go back and I am sure every time it will get better.

Nothing much

I feel like I haven't really had to much to blog about lately and I have been pretty busy. Most days I leave the house around 550 am and don't get home until about 7. Tim and I have really been working hard on going to the gym. I weighed me self again the other day and I was up 2 more lbs???? I have no idea what is going on with my body, but it sure is frustrating. I hate having to watch what I eat but I guess I am going to have to really crack down. Man I would love to be rich and just get all of the fat sucked out of my body haha. I know some people are against plastic surgery but I am not. I am all for it. If or when I am done having kids I am so going to be my boobs lifted. I just hate feeling like I don't have anything to wear and everything I do wear is to tight. I need help.....HELP haha. I guess maybe I am just having another bad day. I think I need new gym cloths that would make me feel good. And I will want to wear them so I will want to go to the gym... That sounds like a good plan. Oh and my gym has a cafe and after Tim and I work out we get a healthy smoothies and when we went on Tuesday we got the Banana Nut one and it was great. If anyone is thinking about joining a gym I would recommend mine, American Family Fitness off of exit 126. Tim and I love it. They have all kinds of classes and it is great if you have kids they have there own kid zone. Anyway I am looking forward to the weekend.

Wonderful Weekend

Well I had a great weekend,

Friday night Shannon my sister-in-law and I went out to eat and then we watched a movie and called it a night. I love having relaxing nights like that.

Saturday I got up early, I had to pick Tim up at the airport around 10:30 but I didn't get there until almost 11 because of traffic. Then we went and had lunch at this place called Nacho Mama's. I love that place. They we invited ours self's down to Reedville to hang out with Shannon M. and her parents. They are really a lot of fun and I think my Tim has wants to be just like Shannon's dad Tim when he grows up. They have a great house with a pond in the back yard. They even have big turtles that hang out and you can feed them crackers. They had a cook out with lots of food (something I love). Also it was nice to spend some time with Shannon and baby Kendall, she is learning something new everyday. We really enjoyed our time down there.

Not a great picture of Kendall but still cute

Sunday we didn't get up until about 8:30 or so and that is sleeping in for us. Shannon, Kendall, Judy (Shannon's Mom), Tim and I all went out for breakfast and just enjoyed the morning. Then Tim and I had to leave. We had a great ride home the weather was amazing. I had me feet hanging out the window the whole time.

Sunday afternoon we had the Monteiro's Chili Cook Off to go to. I have been friends with them since I was in high school. They are always a lot of fun. Tim, Shannon H. and my self met my grandparents there. Jon made some awesome chili and there again was all kinds of food. Tim and Jon where in a horse show tournament. Tim did make it to the second round and played very well. Over all it was a great cook off. Mark and Barbra (the Monteiro's) have a beautiful yard with lots of shade and green grass. Again the weather was perfect.

Tim after getting a ringer. Way to go!!!

Just happy to be there

Smile Tim : )

Monday Tim did lots a cleaning and we when through all of our cloths to try and free up some well needed space in our dresser. After a morning of cleaning we headed out to the lake and spent about an hour floating on a raft, there were a lot of kids in the water so we moved to the pool where we spent another couple of hours just soaking up the sun.

I would say this 3 day weekend was one of the best every. I hope that everyone else had a good weekend.
