Weekend

So here we are on another weekend, I have to be honest the weekends just are not the same with out Tim. I mean I have spent lots of weekends away from Tim but not in a row like this. I miss him more then usual but I think that is because I know I will not see him for 8 more week or is it 7. I really am not that big in to NASCAR but it is something that Tim really enjoys so I have been taking an interest into so that we can share something that he likes. Tim does stuff that I like all the time and to show him how much I appreciate that I watch the NASCAR race on Sunday afternoons with him. It truly is a great time. We usually have something to do in the morning so we will get up and do what ever it is that we want to get done and we try and make it home before the race starts. We watch about the first 50 laps and then we both tend to take a nap ( also the dogs like to nap about the same time) then we wake up an hour or two later just in time to catch the last 60 laps or so. And really the start and finish are the best part of the race. But I really miss my Sundays with Tim, there is nothing better then just relaxingly at home with my happy hubby.

Oh I might be going over the England at the end of July to see him. I had my passport sent out the other day and I should have it back by the 24th of July so if we can afford it I am going to take a trip over to see him. I don't know if I will get to do to much sight seeing but it will just be nice to spend time with him.

Phone

Man I know this might be silly to some people but I am so excited that I can now have a cell phone at work that has a camera on it. So today after work I think I am going to go a look at a new phone. There are so many cool phones out there I have no idea what I am going to get. I have been in need of a new phone for some time but the phone companies don't really make any cool phones with out cameras. Here are some of the ones I am thinking about getting and some of them come in different colors.

Things I love # 4

My Sisters

Really I have many sisters, two of which are my little sisters and I love them dearly. Danielle and Nikki have always been a big part of my life. Although the older they get that less time we spend together, and sometimes I really miss spending time with them. But they are getting older and finding there own way in life.

I also have a Step sister that I hold very near to my heart. I have known Erin since I was about 12 and I think she was 18 or 19 either way she was and still is totally COOL. She has a wonderful family and home. Tim and I love spending time with her and her family. (By the way it was not easy finding a picture of Erin.)

The newest addition I have as a sister is my Sister-in-law Shannon. I have really gotten to know her the past few weeks and to be honest I feel like I have a new best friend. I have always liked Shannon but you get to know some one on a different level when you have to live with them. I am really glad that she is staying at the house, it is nice to have some one to come home to when Tim is away and we get along really well. Also another big bonus is we can share cloths......what girl doesn't love that. I feel like even if Shannon and I were not related and we meet some where that we would still have become friends.

Rough Patch

Rough Patch

Man it seems like everyone around me is having a rough time here lately to include my self. One friends is just minutes away from losing her grandmother and this week her younger sister will start a year long deployment. I know she is having a hard time because she is the support beam for her family and her mom is having a really hard time dealing with that fact that she is getting ready to lose her mother, which is completely understandable. I really feel for her, she is going to have to keep all of her feelings inside to try and be strong for her family but doing that can really wear on you. I feel bad because I have no idea what I can say to make her feel better and it really kills me to see her so upset.

Then my other friend is dealing with being a new mother which is truly wonderful but it is a lot of work for two people and she is going to be on her own for the next year or so. Her husband is also going to be deployed. However she does have a lot of family and friends that will be around to support her. But no one will be able to take the place of her husband. And just think of all the first her husband is going to miss with the new baby, her first word, first step. They might seem like little things to some but to other it is a wonderful special moment you get to share with your child. A moment that cannot be recreated.

I have been feeling kind of down lately but now that I am taking a good look at what the people around me have to go through I should just be grateful for the things I do have. Yes Tim is out of town for a work but he is going to be back in a few weeks. Things might not be great with my family right now but they are still here. I know that there are all experiences that people have to go through I just wish there was some way to help, or there was that perfect thing you could say to make them feel better.

Friends

Here are my two best friends, life would be way harder if I didn't have them to lean on. Really if you think about it I am way lucky to have two best friends. It is great because two of us can always gang on the other one haha just kidding although it does happen some times. And we have all had are turn being the odd man out. The three of us have known each other since high school. The crazy thing is we all started out in the same place when we graduated from high school but now we are all going in different directions yet we still manage to stay close. There are things about both of my friends that I admire.

Shannon has always wanted a family and she has really worked hard for that goal. Here is a pic of her happy family. ( I will have to put a good pic of baby Kendall up she is so cute.)

Jenn, has one of the best outlooks on life of anyone I have ever known. I really can say over all the years I have never had a bad time when hanging out with Jenn. I know if I need some one to vent to she will be able to listen and give me the up side of things.

Things I love # 2

Things I love # 2, I will put Bristol and Tina both as number 2 because I love them both as much and I like I said before they are my kids.

Bristol is over a year old and he is a Miniature Dachshund. He has a really big personality for such a small guy. He is my love bug and Tim calls him his Man Cub....

Tina is a 4 yrs Walker Hound. Most people think she is a really tall beagle but that is not the case. She is really sweet and will do just about anything for food haha.

This is Tim my husband, and the number 1 love of my life. Tim and I have been married for over 2 years and so far it has been going pretty good. I truly believe I am a lucky person to have him in my life. I am sure as my continue to blog Tim will be the focus my many of my thoughts. Tim may not always understand my but he always loves me.

OK.... I am going to try this whole Blog thing. I don't know if I will be to good at it or if anyone will even read it. I have been reading a lot of other peoples blogs lately and I really enjoy them. Although most of the people blog about there kids and I don't have any. Well to most people I don't have any but I do have two dogs and I think of them as my kids. I love them and look forward to seeing them every day when I come home from work, so in my mind they are my kids. I am sure people are not going to check my blog daily to get updates on my dogs haha and if so they must have way less of a life then I do haha just kidding.
