I know this is totally random, but...6 years ago today I did a background investigation case at the supply building for HMX-1 in Quantico the morning of 9-11-01. I finished up there at about 7:30 a.m. and headed up I-95 to do my next appointment, a 9:00 appointment at the Pentagon. I never actually got to that appointment, thank god. The office I was going to was hit head on by the plane and completely destroyed. The supervisor and a coworker of the man I was to interview died. The person I was investigating happened to be in the hallway and survived but was mildly injured.
I haven't been back to that HMX-1 building in Quantico in 6 years. I just never had another case there. But guess where my 1:00 p.m. appointment is today, out of all days?
It's almost eerie.

J.C. Cleaners, J. I'm so glad you weren't there. That's really scary, and it's creepy about today too, since not only has it been 6 years, but 9/11 happened on a Tuesday.
